On behalf of the China Law Association at UCLA, we would like to invite you to
attend the
Leading Developments in
Chinese Law Conference at UCLA School of Law on Friday, March 5, 2010.
This year's conference will focus on legal
developments in China and its implications for U.S.-China relations. It
will
feature speakers and panels on civil society, environmental law, commercial
arbitration, and legal reform generally in China.
Confirmed
speakers include Professors Stanley Lubman (UC Berkeley), Carl
Minzner (Washington
University in St. Louis), Adam Schorr (Margolis
& Tisman LLP, Los Angeles), and Karla Simon (Catholic University),
as well as practioners Barbara Finamore (NRDC,
China), Frances Kao (Skadden, Chicago), and Jingzhou Tao (Jones Day, Beijing).
The conference will include lunch and a
